Yesterday in class I asked the other student at my hospital how he got on with the PAs. He responded that one of the doctors (in fact, the senior of the group) had been having him fill out the order sheets before presenting the patients, so the attending could just check the written orders and sign them. Tom saw my friend doing this, and chewed him out, loudly, in front of the whole nurses’ station, for daring to write anything on the medical record when he’s still only a student, not an MD.

But this is the same guy who boasts to the students of having installed GPS systems in his children’s cars so he can keep tabs on whether they really go to work where they say they do.
